Karate is more than kicks and punches. It helps students build confidence, discipline, respect, resilience and physical literacy.
Through Sporting Schools, eligible schools can bring Karate Australia’s nationally endorsed programs to primary students and students in Years 7 and 8.
Term 4 funding applications close at 5pm AEST, Friday 21 August 2026.

Delivered by accredited Karate Australia providers, each program combines purposeful movement with practical life skills.
Students can develop:

No previous karate experience is required.

KarateKids
Designed for primary students, KarateKids uses safe, age-appropriate activities to build confidence, coordination, focus and respect.
KarateTeens
Designed for students in Years 7 and 8, KarateTeens supports leadership, emotional regulation, resilience and personal responsibility.
SAFE, ACCREDITED DELIVERY
Programs are delivered by registered coaches connected to endorsed Karate Australia providers.
